06/19/15 Plaid Sabbath will be performing at John Carroll University's Reunion Weekend. More information will be available as the event date draws near. 03/15/15 Sunday afternoon, March 15, and the Winery at Spring Hill in Geneva from 2:30 until 5:30. Come on out, try some of their excellent wine and food offerings, and keep up the St. Patrick's Day buzz! 03/14/15 St. Paddy's Day celebrations! Saturday night, March 14, we'll be at the Wild Goose in downtown Willoughby for "St. Practice Day"! We'll be on from 7-10, with Highland bagpipes, kilts and all sorts of rowdiness! Start out your St. Patrick's Day week celebration with one of the Goose's exceptional specialty pizzas, a pint, and some Plaid Sabbath. 03/11/15 On Wednesday the 11th, Plaid Sabbath will be performing at Croagh Patrick's Pub from 7PM to 9PM. We'll be doing our traditional and not-so traditional tunes and songs in an intimate, real pub setting. 03/04/15 The band will be performing at the Twisted Paddy on Lake Shore Blvd from 7PM to 9PM. 01/31/15 Plaid Sabbath will be performing at the Scottish Heritage Association of Northeast Ohio's annual Robert Burns Dinner. The Burns Dinner is a wonderful time, celebrating the life of Scotland's national poet. We hope you'll come and enjoy an evening of bagpipes, kilts and dancing. 01/11/15 On Sunday January 11 Plaid Sabbath will be appearing once again as the musical guests on the Gerry Quinn Irish Radio show. Gerry is on WHK AM 1420 on Sunday mornings from 10:00 until noon. It is a fun two hours of news, talk and music. We hope you will tune in and have a listen. 09/27/14 Plaid Sabbath will be at the East Side Irish American Club for the Club's Fall Festival. There will be music, food and drink all day. Plaid Sabbath will be on from 4:30 to 6:30 downstairs in the Pub. Check out the IA Club on Facebook. or here, Fall Festival. 09/07/14 We will be performing at the First Presbyterian Church of Willoughby for their annual church picnic on Sunday, September 7, beginning at noon. If you are interested in joining in for an old fashioned church picnic, First Presbyterian is a welcoming congregation and would be glad to have you. For more information, call the church office at 440-946-0070. 09/20/14 On Saturday we will be at the Wild Goose in Downtown Willoughby for their 1/2 Way to St. Patrick's Day celebration. Plaid Sabbath will be playing from 7-10 p.m. The Goose is a great place to grab some dinner, enjoy good company, and catch our traditional and not-so-traditional Celtic music. Check out the Wild Goose on Facebook for more info. 07/26/14 On Saturday July 26, Plaid Sabbath will be at the Flavors of the Eastside Festival in Euclid. This is the first year for this event, to be held behind the East Side Irish American Club. They have lined up some great food, beer and wine vendors, as well as a fantastic entertainment schedule. Plaid Sabbath is on from 1:00 until 4:00 p.m. Come on out, sample some of the diverse food culture of metropolitan Cleveland's east side, and enjoy some good Celtic music from Plaid Sabbath. For more information, check out the East Side Irish American Club on Facebook. 07/17/14 On Thursday night July 17, Plaid Sabbath once again will be joining Mayor Dave Anderson and friends for the Sounds of Willoughby, part of Willoughby's Thursday Night Summer Concert Series. The concert starts at 7:00 p.m. at the gazebo in Point Park in beautiful Downtown Willoughby. Bring a lawn chair, get yourself an ice cream cone, and have a listen to a performance of all Willoughby-based groups. 06/13/14 The month of June is upon us. Although we are taking vacations and generally goofing off, Plaid Sabbath still has one gig for June. On Friday Night, June 13, we will be performing at the John Carroll University Alumni Reunion Weekend dinner. If you're a JCU alum, we hope to see you there. Here's the link to the website: 05/17/14 And because you still won't have had enough Plaid Sabbath, come to the Third Annual Downtown Willoughby Rib Burn-Off on Saturday, May 17. We will be performing from 12:30 until 1:30 in the afternoon. In years past the ribs have gone quickly, so better come for lunch and listen to Plaid Sabbath. For more details, check out the DTW site at 05/11/14 On Sunday, we have been invited back to the Gerry Quinn Irish Radio Show on WHK Radio 1420. The show airs from 10AM until noon Sunday morning. We had a great time last year, and are looking forward to joining Gerry once again. 05/09/14 This Friday night we will be appearing in the Pub at the East Side Irish American Club from 7:30PM until 10:30PM.
